Finding and registering your game console's MAC address

If you own an Xbox or a Playstation 2 and would like to be able to place it on the network, you will need to register it with the Help Desk. One of the things you need to submit is the MAC address, which allows us to identify your console so we can grant it access.

1. Remove the GameCube’s broadband adaptor from the GameCube unit.
gamecube2. Printed on the underside of the adaptor is its MAC address (e.g. 00 04 1F 05 20 02). Your MAC address will be different. Each GameCube has a unique address. Please write this down.

To test your Internet connection, insert a Memory Card with 31 blocks available, and insert a game with online capabilities, such as Phantasy Star Online.
